While in Nepal, I had a few days to spend in my guide’s hometown – Pokhara. Situated about 100 miles to the northeast of Kathmandu, on the beautiful Phewa Lake and serving as the gateway to the Annapurna Mountain Range just north, it was great to travel by boat to the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist monument overlooking the lake, meeting some locals, including chatting for a while with Ishwor, the owner of a small t-shirt store and meeting my guide, Narayan’s wonderful family.
Here are a few of my favorite photos.
