Last fall, a few friends and I hiked up to Bald Knob near Mountain Lake to take in the sunset. It was one of the few times I’ve managed to hike in this year, especially after living here for almost two years, but it was so worth it as the blue hue of the blue ridge mountains combined with the gorgeous crimson of the setting sun made for some great photos 🙂
